New Moon in Gemini and Punarvasu Nakshatra on July 14th at 4:00 AM MT
July heats up with some extra hot transits. You’ll need to cool off with more water, slow down, and prevent burn out this month.
Venus and Ketu move into exact degrees within the fiery sign of Leo on July 11th. This heats up watery Venus, can create burn out, and scorch vitality. Mars gives his gaze to this already hot combination. Expect sudden shifts in relationships, with women, and health. Beauty, finances, life force energy, and the women in your life are vulnerable to sudden health challenges and loss. Get extra rest, stay cool, and mind your inner fire. Be extra careful traveling. This is a transit that can cause accidents. Relationships are being restructured. What is shifting? Is it you or them? Insights, new awareness, and shocking revelations are to be expected. Venus is vulnerable for the entire month. Slow down.
As Venus passes over Ketu on July 11th, many months of Kala Sarpa Yoga breaks. The extreme ups and downs may find some calm moving forward. A shedding and release process has been taking place since early spring. What have you been shedding and releasing? What are you closing and letting go of now?
Retrograde Mercury gets overheated by the Sun as they collide in exact degrees in Gemini on July 12th. Venus and Ketu are still causing challenges, so honor the difficulties for mind and body occurring around the new Moon. Your body and mind will feel the exhaustion, heat, and overwhelm. Retrograde Mercury is already intensifying mental body and nervous system. The Sun scorches mind and nervous system with his close proximity to Mercury. Rahu gives his gaze to Sun and Mercury only intensifying the pressure. Worry, fear, doubts, overwhelm and anxiety intensify around the new Moon. Keep the mind cool with green foods, Nature, water, and meditation.
The new Moon occurs on July 14th at 4:00 AM MT while Moon is transiting Gemini and Punarvasu Nakshatra. Sun, Moon, and retrograde Mercury collide in close conjunction causing fatigue, overwhelm and exhaustion. You will feel this physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Less is more at this time. Get more rest and listen to your body. What does it need?
The July new Moon in Gemini and Punarvasu nakshatra awakens the desire for universality, new resources and support. Ruling deity, Aditi, is often referred to as the “mother of all goodness”. She birthed 33 Devas. Of these children, 12 were Adityas- powerful allies for resources, material support, wisdom and guidance. She is the expression of expanded awareness, the mother in all things, the foundation of the universe and non-duality. She awakens and supports the awareness of oneness, non-difference, sama or the equanimity of the mind. Aditi gave birth to Vishnu himself, the ultimate sustaining force that upholds dharma. The bounty and blessings of Aditi will awaken and expand possibilities and potential for you. She is limitless, formless, unbounded, non-dual abundance that is the foundation for all nourishment in this life.
Where are you in right relationship with the nourishment in your life? What is feeling supportive, nourishing and bountiful? Where are you disconnected or resisting nourishment, abundance and support? What resources and guidance are missing on your path?
Use this new Moon to crack open the parts of you in lack and malnourishment. Attend to your grief and emotional body. Honor and acknowledge the needs that are not being met in your life and your relationships. Dig deeper into your struggle and hardship. Face your shadow and honor its gifts, so you can make space for new possibilities to arrive. Ask for what you need and gather the resources and support that will make it possible.
Isn’t time for you to know your dharma without doubt?
Isn’t it time to embody unwavering trust, sovereignty, and dharmic clarity?

Full Moon in Capricorn and Shravana Nakshatra on July 29th at 08:00 AM MT + Guru Purnima
Venus has moved away from Ketu, moving to the edge of Leo. Mercury goes direct on July 23rd. Mind, money, communication, and thoughts are moving forward now. Mercury loves being in its own sign of Gemini. Support the mind, nervous system, and mental body with more nourishment, calm, and green.
Sun and Jupiter conjoin in exact degrees at the time of the full Moon. Jupiter is combust the Sun, feeling overheated, overwhelmed, and under supported. This is an especially challenging dynamic for teachers, gurus, and spiritual guides who are going through an immense transformation process right now. Fathers, husbands and men in general may feel the heat as well. Women may feel burned by men. Emotions are overheated, intense, and overwhelming. Grief is moving. Let it release! Who are you becoming and what needs to be expressed? Find ways to express your emotions so they don’t get bottled up. Stop over-giving! Co-dependency, fawning, and lack of boundaries need to end now.
Saturn goes retrograde in Pisces on July 26th, intensifying themes of death, endings, loss, and release. As if the past many months of clean up weren’t enough, Saturn will be forcing yet another round of deep release. Whatever has been left unattended, you will be forced to clean up in the cycle ahead. Saturn will be retrograde in Pisces until December 10th, 2026. Four months of deep clean up is ahead.
Pisces correlates to the twelfth house of the Jyotish chart. As a water sign, it is spiritual and moveable in Nature. Feet are connected to Pisces by default because the twelfth house is ruled by this body part. Jupiter rules Pisces and brings knowledge, wisdom, and expansion with him. This is a sign of depth that desires wholeness.

The most auspicious full Moon in the Vedic calendar arrives on July 29th at 08:00 AM MT, while moon is transiting Sravana nakshatra.
This expansive full Moon and cycle ahead offers spiritual insight, dharmic support and resources to sustain ones path. Lord Vishnu rules over this portion of the sky, gifting the constellation of Sravana with momentum for one’s soul purpose. He sustains and upholds that which supports the dharmic path. If it is life supporting and honors Natural Law, Vishnu will bless it and help it thrive. If it does not bring life and sattva (purity), it won’t get his support.
Sravana nakshatra reminds us to align with our inner wisdom and to strengthen our capacity to hear truth. What is your truth? What is your deepest intention and soul’s purpose? What is the driving force and inner intelligence that gives you strength? Put emphasis here and pay close attention in the coming cycle for reminders. Gather resources, support and guidance to assist your clarity, purpose and inner guidance. If it’s not honoring your dharma, let it drop away- or it will likely fall away on its own.
Vishnu is the god of dharma- that which sustains and maintains order in the universe. The constellation of Shravana is his domain, which allows the passing of knowledge and wisdom- usually through sound. In ancient Vedic times, dharma was passed through oral tradition until eventually it became written word. The waning cycle ahead supports the power and strength of your dharmic path. Are you aligning with your dharma through your choices and actions? Are you moving closer to your passions and purpose, or further away?
The July full Moon coincides with Guru Purnima, the most auspicious full Moon in the Vedic calendar. This full Moon is for honoring teachers, guides, masters and the wisdom that they offer us in our lives. This auspicious Moon is considered to be the “fullest full Moon” of the year in the Vedic tradition. Spend the day honoring your guru, teachers, and the guides who support your dharmic path.
Who will listen?
I proclaim with uplifted arms,
Practice of Dharma leads to Artha (material prosperity)
Kama (pleasure of life) and Moksha (liberation from karma),
Do not be deaf to my cries!
– Vyasa at the conclusion of the Mahabharata
