Full Moon in Aries and Bharani Nakshatra on November 5th at 06:18 AM MT

November begins with a bright full Moon in Aries. A sense of beginning and opening to the new arrives. This month brings a variety of changes, while Libra and Scorpio take center stage. Sensitivity arrives with multiple sandhi planets, retrogrades, and combustion. With Sun still debilitated for the first half of the month, slow steps and special attention with the body is vital.

Venus strengthens in Libra as the month begins. This supports life force energy, Shakti. The body gets a boost with this transit. All things Venus improve, which may feel dramatic after a month of debilitation. Vehicles, beauty, women, creativity, money, and health strengthen for the coming month. Libra supports leisure, travel, enjoyment and relationships. Watch for indecision and confusion with these areas of life as well since Sun is still debilitated in Libra until the 16th. The combustion with Venus and Sun is not extreme, so this will help keep the physical body safer. Prevent burnout and be diligent with your life force energy. Sun scorches water planet, Venus, when they conjunct. Life force includes your inner waters, money and love. Be extra careful with your pelvis, womb, and urinary tract during this transit.

Major planets Saturn and Jupiter are both sandhi this month. When a planet moves to the edge of a sign, it becomes more spiritual, but also more vulnerable. Saturn is retrograde until the end of the month and will be at the edge of Pisces, opening the doorway into Aquarius where Rahu is transiting. Physical body and bones are vulnerable. Watch your feet and take cautious steps. Ancient wisdom and ancestral support may strengthen. Pay attention to the spirit realms and pause more so you don’t miss any messages.

Jupiter is doing a short-lived hop into his exaltation sign Cancer right now. He won’t fully strengthen beyond sandhi degrees before retrograding and returning to Gemini. Hovering at the 00 degree range means that the door between Gemini and Cancer is wide open. An exalted planet strengthens its expression- for better or worse. When Jupiter retrogrades on the 11th, his exaltation is canceled, uccha bangha. Notice how the inward pull strengthens. His sandhi degrees create vulnerability, but extra spiritual strength. As he retrogrades, this sensitivity intensifies. Notice where the edge of Cancer and Gemini sits in your chart. This is a particularly delicate part of body and life through December. Home, mother, the emotional body, and land are asking for your attention. Heart, chest, lungs, and ribcase are vulnerable.

Mercury and Mars continue to dance together in Scorpio creating tension between mind and action steps. Mars loves being in his own sign of Scorpio, but he does not love Mercury getting in his way. Mars is the stronger planet in this conjunction and action steps will likely prevail. However, Mercury creates tension, over-thinking, self doubt, and rumination- especially once he goes retrograde on the 9th. The mental body will require cooling so it doesn’t overheat with the fire of Mars. Keep your mind calm with meditation, pranayama, rest, green, leafy vegetables, extra time in Nature, mantra, and EFT. Focus on hope, dreams, positivity. Notice what your fear is saying and transform it with compassion.

Full Moon in Aries and Bharani nakshatra occurs on November 5th in the early hours of the morning.

Bharani nakshatra is symbolic of death, dying and transformation, as Yama is the ruling deity here. He requests restraint and simplicity, rather than indulgence and extravagance. Yama determines your direction after death and which realm you will end up in. He weighs and measures your karmas in order to make his decision. In this way he is often called Dharmaraja as he determines your dharmic path in the next life time. This is a Ugra constellation, which means it is fierce and severe, promoting harsh or aggressive acts.

The Yoni is Bharani’s symbol, expressing the harshness of birth and the death process that arrives when we step into the new. Life and death are intimately intertwined and Bharani nakshatra reminds us of this. The vagina is a powerful creative force and is connected to the strength of the Divine Feminine, as well as all female bodies. The birthing process is an act of transformation, release, death and new beginnings.

What are you birthing in your life? What is dying?

A re-birthing arrives with this cycle- so plan accordingly. Restraint and focus are required in the coming weeks. Clarify your needs and open to something new. This waning cycle will support the shedding and release of your old self, while supporting the arrival of a new, upgraded version of yourself as well. Have you cleared what needs to be released so you can make space for the new?

This is a portion of the sky connected to birthing, bringing forth something new. It is both vulnerable, sensual, and sensitive, as well as immensely powerful and strong. Bharani reminds us that we often we must go through restraint, and restriction in order to clarify and align with a new path, a new direction, a new life. Notice what is being refined right now in your life. Acknowledge where you are feeling pinched, pruned, forced to clarify your needs and desires.

Use this waning cycle to clean up your path and purpose. If you are misaligned or being frivolous, Yama will put the smack down and force you to make some hard choices. He will also support ease and fluidity when you are aligned with right action, dharma. Notice what is being supported and what is not. It’s time to make some choices about where you want to go, and what you want to create for your life. If you aren’t getting the support of Natural Law that you want and need, you need to redirect and pivot.

Create life-supportive boundaries for your body and life or Yama will make them for you.

New Moon in Scorpio and Anuradha Nakshatra on November 19th at 23:18 MT

Scorpio becomes a central focus for body and life mid month as four planets collide here at the new Moon. The new Moon is delicate, deep, and transformational. Slow down so you allow the depth of digestion to take place in body and life.

At the time of the new Moon, Sun, Moon, retrograde Mercury and Mars conjunct in Scorpio. This is the sign of Moon’s debilitation. Any debilitated planet requires deeper listening and inner wisdom. The moon can’t express itself here, so there can be frustrations, sadness and loneliness that emerge as a result. The emotional body is also more intuitive and clairvoyant if the channels are open to receive this insight.

Retrograde Mercury intensifies the mind, thoughts, and nervous system. Expect extra sensitivity with all things Mercury around the new Moon. This includes finances, thoughts, mind, nervous system, creativity, and communication. Be firm and clear with needs and express what you want carefully and directly. Renewal and rebirth is taking place. This requires deep transformation internally.

Mars navigates his own sign of Scorpio in a Mercury ruled constellation, Jyeshtha. This intensifies the challenges with all things Mercury. You may be pushing too hard so be mindful of your actions and choices. Mars may want to move quickly and make sudden decisions. Don’t let him. This cycle is best used for rest and contemplation. Think before you act and don’t make rash decisions you may regret later.

Scorpio is the sign of death, endings, loss, and serious life challenges. Learning how to work with Scorpio and the 8th house is essential for your dharmic path and soul purpose. Transform, release, let go. Digest emotions, listen to your body wisdom, and use your animal instincts.

Now that Sun is no longer debilitated, the body and stamina strengthens. Rely on your inner wisdom, instead of physical strength. Sun awakens your depth and hidden gifts as he navigates Scorpio for the coming month. Notice where Scorpio lives in your natal chart. What body part is getting his illumination? Pay attention, stay curious, and ask this body part to share its messages with you.

New Moon in Scorpio and Anuradha Nakshatra arrives as the 19th is ending.

Anuradha nakshatra is ruled by Mitra who supports friendships and connections that uplift your life. This constellation is also a powerful reminder of transformation and celebration. Symbolized by a triumphal gateway, this portion of the sky ushers in the arrival of improvement, upliftment and achievement. A powerful reminder that our darkness can be shifted and transformed into something life serving and empowering. Through your dharma, release and change your tragedy, pain and struggles into light, awareness and a powerful offering to the world.

In the waxing cycle ahead, spend time with quality people, dear friends and trusted allies. Ask for support from those you love and cherish. Work towards co-creation and connection. Acknowledge the challenges you face and commit to transformation and healing. Lighten your load and turn the heaviness and sorrow into ease and gentleness. The medicine for your journey is self love and acceptance.

What needs to be reframed? How can you rewrite your story? How do you want to feel and what direction do you want to go? What steps are you committed to taking so you can finally feel successful?

Mitra is a friend, ally and resource provider. He supports connections, alliances and friendships. Saturn rules this constellation, however, and he requests stability, support, consistency, structure and safety. This portion of the sky demands emotional body attention and intention. Whether you want to or not, your emotional body will request focus. Undigested grief needs to be cleared in order to make space for more of what you do want and need. Where are you resisting your emotional body wisdom?

Your capacity to acknowledge and honor your grief, determines your capacity to hold the joy and nourishment of this life as well. Balance shadow and light. Harmonize opposing forces. Heal duality and conflict within. Mitra will support a friendly alliance with your whole body, but first you must be willing to wade in the mud and acknowledge the depths of your suffering. No mud, no lotus.

In the coming cycle, find a new balance point. Redefine what depth means for you. Use the storms to clear and purge. Plant your inner seeds and find your ground. Unify and strengthen your inner power. Let Spirit be a guiding force for your higher purpose. Clear away the rubble and clarify your path and purpose. Transform your darkness into light.
